Our Routers Are Not Affected By Kr00k

Written by Petr Gotthard, Thursday 27 February 2020

ESET researchers discovered a vulnerability in Wi-Fi chips. This flaw, named Kr00k and registered as CVE-2019-15126, causes vulnerable devices to use an all-zero encryption key to encrypt part of the communication, which allows an attacker to decrypt some wireless network packets. Kr00k affects devices with Wi-Fi chips by Broadcom and Cypress that haven’t yet been patched. For more details see

Our cellular routers are not affected by Kr00k because the hardware is not based on Broadcom or Cypress chipsets. Should you have more questions, please contact your Regional Support.
