Never Miss an Update: A Simple Guide to RSS

Tired of checking websites manually? Let the news come to you.

What exactly is RSS?

Imagine if every time your favorite website published a new article, it automatically sent a "notification" to a single private app or folder on your computer. That is RSS.

The cleanest way to stay informed: With RSS, you are completely anonymous. There are no sign-up forms, no passwords to remember, and no personal data collected. It’s just a pure, direct stream of information that you control.

✓ No Spam✓ No Algorithms✓ 100% Privacy

You just "hook" your reader app to our feed address, and you're in total control of your digital space.

Step 1: Copy Our Feed Address

First, you need the "source" of our news. Don't just click the link (it will look like a page full of code). Instead, use the button below:

Your Subscription Link:

💡 Tip: If the button doesn't work, right-click the link above and select "Copy link address".

Step 2: Choose Your Reader

Where do you want the updates to appear? Choose one of the three most common ways:

A. Browser Extension (The Quickest Way)

Perfect for those who spend their day in a web browser. Note: We recommend using only one RSS extension at a time.

  • Chrome:
    • Feeder (Modern & Visual): Beautiful, syncs across devices. Best for: Visual comfort.
    • The RSS Aggregator (Simple & Fast): No account needed. Best for: Minimalists.
  • Firefox:
    • Feedbro (The Full Powerhouse): Professional-grade reader with dashboard. Best for: Power users.
    • Sage-Like (The Lightweight Classic): Simple sidebar reader. Best for: Quick checks.
  • Safari (macOS):
💡 Quick Tip: Enable it in Safari > Settings > Extensions.

B. Email Client (The Workflow Way)

Receive our articles just like emails in your favorite client:

Microsoft Outlook (Classic)
⚠️ Note: Not supported in "New Outlook".
  1. Right-click RSS Subscriptions in the left folder pane.
  2. Choose "Add a New RSS Feed" and paste our link.
Mozilla Thunderbird
  1. Go to File > New > Feed Account.
  2. In the new account, click "Manage Subscriptions" and paste our link.

Apple Mail: Use NetNewsWire for Mac/iPhone.

C. Microsoft Teams (The Professional Way)

Keep your entire department informed in a shared channel:

Method 1: Connectors (Classic)
  1. Channel (...) > Connectors > Search RSS.
  2. Name: "Advantech Blog", Address: Paste our link.
Method 2: Workflows (New Teams)
  1. Channel (...) > Workflows.
  2. Search "Post to a channel when an RSS feed item is published" and follow.

Step 3: The Information Hub (Professional Aggregators)

If you follow many technical sources, cloud-based services like Feedly or Inoreader are the best way to stay synced.

How to set it up: Create a free account, click "+" or "Add Content", and paste our link. Free plans are more than enough for our blog.
