Real-time passenger infotainment, live video surveillance, GPS tracking and vehicle telemetry – all running at once, on every bus, across one of Latin America’s busiest cities. That’s what Bogotá’s new BYD electric bus fleet needed from its on-board connectivity.

The ICR-3232W industrial cellular router serves as the communication hub aboard each eBus. It combines dual-SIM LTE with automatic carrier failover, integrated GNSS and dual-band Wi-Fi in a single compact device, and connects MDVR cameras, passenger displays and the on-board routing system via Ethernet, RS232 and RS485. All 1000 routers are managed centrally via WebAccess/DMP – with zero-touch provisioning, remote firmware updates and real-time monitoring, without ever touching a vehicle.
