The JSOF research lab has discovered several vulnerabilities in a TCP/IP library developed by Treck Inc. It is a low level software library intended for network connected (IoT) appliances such as printers, smart-home devices or industrial control systems. The vulnerabilities (called Ripple20) can be exploited to gain a full remote control over the device, without the need of any user interaction. For more details see https://www.jsof-tech.com/ripple20.

Our cellular routers use a TCP/IP stack from the Linux kernel, which is not affected by the Ripple20 vulnerabilities. Should you have more questions, please contact your Regional Support.
